Quick FAQ

What makes a belt better for work pants?

Look for structure, a secure buckle, a width that fits your pants loops and enough adjustability for sitting, driving and moving all day.

Should I buy one belt or two?

Most customers get more use from two colors: black for work and daily wear, plus brown or coyote for outdoor and weekend outfits.

Why does belt width matter?

Width affects support and compatibility. A 1.5 inch belt is a practical choice for many jeans, work pants and daily setups.

    Rugged

Heavy duty stitching and a very heavy metal buckle with a unique latching system. Clasps together easily and releases quickly with 2 fingers. Release plates sit in a narrow point so it‘s less likely to release accidentally. Sizing seems to be a ways off and wish they had more size options. But still a good belt.

    It’s alright, not too crazy.

It effective at what it does, once you’ve got it on, it’s ON. It’s made rather durably, so you don’t have to worry about it fraying on you or breaking. But it’s not the most comfortable “tactical” belt around, which is fine.

    Great quality

I got the dual belt option. One is a rigid nylon type material. The other is a stretchy/nylon type material. The buckle mechanisms are well made and solid. Unfortunately the would not fit through the belt loops on any of my pants. The stretchy one was still useable over the top of my pants Without the loops. if you‘re using them for holsters/etc. they would work good.

Security and Loss Prevention professional approved

I work as a loss prevention and security specialist as my day job and occasionally do event security as a side job in the evenings, so I'm always using my gear and putting it through the ringer. That being said, I am quite pleasantly surprised at the quality I've gotten for the price I paid.My other Fairwin belts have held up remarkably well in the years of daily use and wear I've put them through, so I'd say I've definitely gotten more than my money's worth out them thus far. I've bought some of these to supplement my current belts, a two ply model which unfortunately seems to have been discontinued, but these have been adequate enough for my needs with them. However, a caveat I will point out with these belts is that I personally wouldn't trust them to hold up a duty sidearm and holster on their own. It's a single ply design and I could see it holding up something very lightweight and concealable like a .38 revolver or a .380 auto, but probably not a fully loaded Glock 17 or other similarly sized duty handgun, so I would personally want to use suspenders or a true duty belt if I wanted something for those purposes. But it's a comfortable, reasonably strong design that works for my purposes in unarmed roles, so if you're just looking for an inexpensive product that will hold up to daily use, I recommend these belts, but if you need a true heavy duty belt for a sidearm, I'd personally recommend you look at 1.7 inch, purpose built products instead.Still, for a sub-$20 belt,…
